Album "Return"

An album about a visit back home from the eyes of a person who has been living away from Vietnam for a long time. In collaboration with Nguyen Minh Duc and Nguyen Huyen Trang.

That's how Hanoi is, waiting for the trains to leave the station in the night mist.

The day I left, Hanoi was chilly. Strolling down the street at dusk, I often think little of what lies ahead. This city is full of nostalgia. Each step is like a farewell, as well as a wonder. Leaving my homeland, I left behind a lot of love and memories.

And that's what Hanoi is, waiting for the ships to dock in the warm sunlight.

The day I returned, Hanoi was drizzling with rain. Looking back at the familiar but strange city, my heart can't help but be excited. Remember the small alley, the trees, the idle stories in the afternoon after school. But most of all, I remember my old self.

Many photographers try to capture Hanoi's moments imprinted on their souls, but how many capture their own childhood? As a matter of course, that prompted me to visit the places I used to be.

Let's go, dear Hanoi.
